Information for Registration/CampMinder

 

We are now using CampMinder for summer camp registration for children entering Kindergarten-12th grade. We feel this integrated system will be more user-friendly as it will allow you to register for camps, pay in full or pay a camp balance online and also see your family’s registration history in an integrated way. It will also help us communicate better with you!

When you click the “Register” buttons or links, you will be taken to the CampMinder page “Participant Application.” We have imported basic account information from our previous database, into the new CampMinder system, for your convenience. The first time you log in, you will fill in information about your family and then continue to create an account. Many returning families have already been entered into the system so when you type in your info, you may be informed that you already have an account. Click on the link to “email a reset account invitation.” This will send an email with a link allowing you to create security questions and a password.

Some families will enter the initial parent info and then a window will pop up asking if there are any “other email addresses.” If you are certain that you haven’t registered for an OFJCC camp in the past, you can click "skip" at this point to continue the registration process. If you have been to J-Camp before, please try another email address when prompted, maybe a work or a personal email if you initially offered the opposite. (As we mentioned, we are trying to integrate the whole family into one account to make your life easier. You can always update your email address or add another address to the account.)

Once you have set up a CampMinder account, you will be able to register for all J-camp programs more quickly and easily in the future.

Once you have set up a password you will be brought to the Participant Application page. Some families will have a child listed in their account; others may need to add a child. You can do this by clicking “Add Child” and filling out the necessary information. Once you have filled in the info you can click “Begin Application” to start the next step.

The landing page you will be taken to contains many different program options for J-Camp. First, you will be asked whether or not your child is a member.  Below the member question, all of the camp options are listed according to the grade you child is entering in fall 2017.  If you click “show sessions”, a drop down of all the available camp sessions in that category will appear, with detailed information about each camp. The camp session categories will generally consist of Traditional Camps and Special Focus camps, with a few exceptions at certain grade levels. Please note that we also have a couple of camps with daily options available.  These are listed separately below the other camp options. PM Care weekly and daily options are also available to view, below the camp session categories. If you have two children, you will need to register them individually for the programs.

The next few pages will ask for parental/family information and finally billing info.

On your Dashboard, you will have the following options:

  • Forms and Documents: Camper Application, J-Camp Change/Cancellation form, Financial Assistance Application, Authorized Grown-Ups, Waivers (you will be notified if these are required for any of your registered camps), etc…
  • Camper Information: review and update the information we have on file for your children
  • Update Addresses/Phone Numbers: Make any changes to your contact info
  • Financial Management: update contact info, view your statements, print invoices, pay your balance, etc…

When you enroll for a camp, you will submit your payment information using the secure CampMinder system. Your account will be billed automatically for whichever payment option you select (Deposit or Pay in Full) If you would like to make payments, you can do so after registration by going into the financial management section on your dashboard.
