Discounts
Sibling Discounts: A 10% sibling discount automatically applies when you register two or more children for the J-Camp summer program. For the discount to apply, all children need to be registered at the same time.
Refer a NEW Camper: Refer a NEW camper who has never enrolled in J-Camp before and both families will receive $50 off a camp session. To receive this discount, both parties must register for camp and fill out the Refer a New Camper form by May 31, 2024.
Early Bird Discount: When you sign up on or before March 1, 2024, each camper receives $60 off one camp session. If you register for the entire eight weeks, you will receive $200 off.
Host Family Discount: We have Israeli staff join our team each summer. The best way for our Israeli staff to experience America is to immerse themselves in the day-to-day lives of our J-Camp families! Host family responsibilities include housing, meals, transportation to and from J-Camp and access to laundry facilities. Once they have met peers at camp, most international staff members are able to secure rides home each day. Host families who host for a minimum of four weeks receive $1,000 credit toward camp this summer. If you are interested in hosting one or more of our Israeli staff members, please email pbassett@paloaltojcc.org or mvaldez@paloaltojcc.org.
Cancellation, Change and Refund Policy
In the case of a cancellation, a refund will be issued minus your $200 non-refundable deposit per camp session. Any cancellations made after May 31, 2024 will not receive a refund. To cancel or change, please fill out the Change/Cancellation Form and send it to youth@paloaltojcc.org. After May 31, 2024, there will be no refund for any reason, except in the situation that the OFJCC shuts down camp prior to it beginning. (All cancellations must be submitted in writing.) We will not be issuing refunds for campers sent home for illness or any other reason. If you would like to change your camp session or transfer to another camp, a change fee of $20 will be charged for each change. All requests to change one program to another are contingent upon space and availability.
Refund Policy
Until May 31, 2024: Refund minus the $200 deposit
After May 31, 2024: No Refunds
Scholarship/Financial Aid
We want all children to be able to have an amazing summer with us. Here at J-Camp we are able to provide camperships in order to help make camp more affordable. Before applying for financial assistance, please register your child for camp so that your family has an Active account. To apply, please fill out the financial assistance application found in your confirmation email. Applications and your 2023 tax return must be submitted to the OFJCC by April 1, 2024. Fully completed applications are necessary to begin consideration. In the case that an award does not meet a family's need, all money paid will be fully refunded.
Camperships are made possible through the OFJCC Camp Scholarship Fund and the Jewish Community Day Camp Scholarship Fund of the Jewish Community Endowment Fund. For more information, please contact the scholarship committee at youth@paloaltojcc.org.
